Killer Kross & Scarlett Bordeaux Thought They'd Be WWE Lifers

These were 2 of the many talents released by WWE over the last couple of years. Although it looked after Karrion Kross won the NXT Championship, that both of their stocks would rise; unfortunately, they met their untimely end with the company, back in November.

Kross recently spoke with Sportskeeda about their short run with in McMahonopolis & how they thought they’d be with the company for a long time. Killer Kross' currently set to compete against Harry Smith @ Starrcast V, which takes place on the same weekend as SummerSlam.

“It feels a little bit like the Twilight Zone. I don’t have any bad feelings, but it’s just a little unusual, you know? Scarlett & I always thought we were gonna be lifers there. We thought that just because we had loved the environment so much.”

The former NXT Champion then spoke about how being in WWE in some ways felt like training in the military:

“I mean this in the most endearing way, it was kind of like the military. We would get up & we would train, you get paid to train, to become the best version of yourself, you go to perform & then you go home... & we’re very much happy with that lifestyle. Before we were even there, she & I would operate like that. We’re very much, ‘Get up, get whatever you need into your system, go train together & then just do whatever you got to do with the rest of your days.’ Everything is just living in preparation for the next event & that’s the way it operated there. So I’m very happy that it’s in the same town, because I think the audiences will definitely piggyback off of each other & I think it’s gonna work very well.”

Starrcast V has been getting much attention due to ‘The Nature Boy’ Ric Flair’s final match @ the event. Talent from Major League Wrestling, Impact Wrestling & more are all scheduled to compete @ the event, which takes place on July 31st in Nashville, Tennessee.
