It was reported last week that Matt Riddle recently failed a second WWE Wellness Policy test, and he has now been forced to enter an in-patient drug treatment facility.
At the time, there were some conflicting reports as to whether this was true or not, as WWE has always publicly announced failed drug tests. Additionally, the Federation is saying the “Original Bro” will be out six weeks. This timeframe doesn't line up with the announced Wellness Policy guidelines of a 60 day suspension for a second violation. The company has also been continuing to reference Riddle’s name on television. Despite this, the "Super King of Bros" has been pulled from all WWE live events for the time being.
The adult film star Riddle has reportedly been seeing in recent months, Jordan Maxx, took to Twitter to respond to a fan who tagged her about a report that Matt was seen kissing fellow adult film star Misha Montana:
“Does it make you feel better about yourself to kick people when they’re down?
“Try to imagine for one second, the man you’ve spent the last 6 months with, who said ‘I love you’ for the first time 2 months ago, is all of a sudden making out with someone else WHO IS IN YOUR INDUSTRY, and then, rather than keeping plans for Christmas and NYE, he’s going to rehab? Do you have any idea how confusing and hurtful that is?”
When another person on Twitter accused Jordan of suggesting that she’d rather be involved with Riddle, instead of seeing him get the help he needs, she clapped back with the following:
“Can you even read? That’s not what I’m saying at all. He told me that he quit drugs, and then to find out he’s a) with another girl b) doing those drugs with her and c) failing drug tests so he has to go to rehab for it is disappointing.”
As of this writing, WWE hasn't issued any sort of statement on Matt Riddle’s status, other than to say he’ll be out six weeks due to a recent attack by Solo Sikoa.
