The 35-year-old former WWE Superstar was released from his contract on July 31 of last year. There is speculation, however, that Wyatt could eventually return. WWE Hall of Famer Triple H (Paul Levesque) has brought back several previously-released superstars since taking over as the new head of Talent Relations, as well as the leader of WWE creative.
It started with Dakota Kai at SummerSlam weekend... then Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, Hit Rox and Dexter Lumis soon followed. Braun Strowman, Bray's former ally, is reportedly slated to return soon as well. But if the Federation's interested in bringing back Wyatt, there may be competition for his services.
According to a report from Fightful Select, the Eater of Worlds received an offer to come to a "startup wrestling company." Fightful heard that the offer was "serious", but they haven't received word on if Wyatt's interested, or if he's taken the offer.
It's not confirmed, but it was also noted in the report that the company "was heavily implied" to be Freddie Prinze Jr's. promotion. Fightful also added that All Elite Wrestling has "at least some interest in" the third-generation wrestler.
Vince McMahon reportedly came to dislike the former WWE Universal champion, who was apparently vocal about his discontent with WWE creative. But with Vinnie-Mac now out of the picture, the door's open for The Game to bring back the long-time fan favourite. We'll just have to wait and see how things play out.
Bray Wyatt's Last WWE Match
He last competed in the Federation at Day two of WrestleMania 37 against long-time rival Randy Orton. In a surprise, The Viper quickly defeated Wyatt via pinfall, after Alexa Bliss betrayed the latter. On the post-WrestleMania edition of WWE Raw, Bray announced he was seeking a fresh start during a "Firefly Fun House" segment. Less than four months later, WWE released him from his contract.
